It is with great sad-ness that the Sandoval Ohana announces the passing of Frank Sandoval on October 19, 2020.

Frank was born on August 27, 1945 in Santa Ynez, California. He was a proud Chumash Indian, serving as a Shaman to those who sought his council.

Frank worked in Food and Beverage. He was the training manager for the sambo’s restaurant for over 15 years traveling all over the country opening new restaurants training the chefs and the managers. He was awarded the employee of the year after only 3 months of employment. He worked in Lahaina at some of the better restaurants, than found his comfort at the Beach Club Restaurant at the Aston Kaanapali shores where he retired there after 8 years. Frank’s other Joy was laughter.

Frank was survived by his wife Kate, daughter Melissa and his wife’s children from her first marriage. Their marriage was a union of lifetime.

There will be a modest memorial and celebration of Frank’s life at the Calvary Church at 31 North market Street in Wailuku. There will be refreshments.

Frank also loved music, so if you want to bring your guitar or ukulele along and play a couple of songs that would just make his heart fill with joy.

Nakamura Mortuary will be assisting the family with all arrangements.

Please do not send flowers, we would rather you send a small donation to: 35 Naniluna Dr. Suite L, Wailuku, Hawaii 96793

God Bless and keep you all.
