In the latest K-drama news, the popular series Suspicious Partner is all set to get an Indian adaptation. The series, titled A Legal Affair, will feature Angad Bedi.

Angad Bedi has been roped in for the Indian version of Suspicious Partner. The original series which has a huge fanbase, features Korean stars including Ji Chang-wook, Nam Ji-hyun, Choi Tae-joon and others.

Talking about the upcoming series, Angad Bedi said, "It’s an intense romantic drama, a genre I haven’t dabbled in before. I did essay the role of a lawyer previously but that was a different space altogether which was based on a real-life Murad case."

Opening up about fan expectations, he said, "It’s kind of tricky since the Korean version was already a hit, so people have high expectations and it’s up to the actors and makers what more they can bring to the show."

Suspicious Partner follows a young woman who works as a trainee with a prosecutor on a murder case. Drama ensues when the trainee becomes a suspect. The Indian adaptation will be a rom-com directed by Karan Darra. It also stars Barkha Singh.

The release date of A Legal Affair is yet to be announced.
